What to do
with this
surplus
love
which is
repelled
by its
recipients?
All this love
which is
then absorbed
back
doubly
and drips
like a messy sponge
or else
an overfull
water balloon
about to burst?
How can this excess
be used wisely?
How can this
built up pressure
hold
its perfect,
soft shape
intact?
Why compare love
to a commodity
at all,
when love
should be
free?
